OAESV advocates for public policies that promote healing and justice for survivors, hold offenders accountable, and support rape crisis centers in their work. OAESV is proud to coordinate a Survivor Advisory Council, the role of which is to provide guidance to OAESV regarding public policy priorities. For more information about our public policy priorities, policies for which we have successfully advocated, and how you can get involved, please contact our Executive Director.
OAESV advocates for comprehensive, accessible, and culturally relevant services for survivors throughout Ohio. We do this through training and technical assistance provided to rape crisis centers and allied professionals, through the development and dissemination of resources and best practices, and through collaboration with national, statewide, and local partners. For more information about how we advocate for effective response services, please contact our Advocacy & Training Director.
OAESV believes that preventing sexual violence is possible if we all work together to make it a reality. Each day, OAESV works with national, state, and local partners to ensure that comprehensive sexual violence prevention policies, programs, and initiatives are developed and are reaching communities throughout the state. For more information about how we empower communities to prevent sexual violence, please contact our Prevention Coordinator.
