In the morning\, we will hear from a panel of advocates and preventionists working on community\, branch\, and satellite campuses. The afternoon will feature space to engage in community conversation with those who do similar work. \nLunch will be provided. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]The Ohio Campus Coalition for Advocates and Preventionists (OCCAP) is a community of practice for advocates and preventionists working on college and university campuses across the state. Open to college/university-employed staff\, nonprofit-employed staff\, and volunteers who work with survivors and/or violence prevention programming on college/university campuses. \nJoin us for our first in-person meeting since 2020 for a day of training and connection with anti-violence workers across the state. Coraly León Morales and Clara Valadares Kientz of NOVA’s Campus Training and Technical Assistance Program will deliver a keynote address titled “Coordinated Community Response: Building Trusted Relationships for Collective Impact.” Following the keynote\, *panelists working on Ohio campuses will discuss their experiences building partnerships\, collaboration\, and relationships to promote meaningful access for students\, especially students who are a part of marginalized communities. The afternoon will feature space to engage in community conversation with fellow advocates and preventionists. \nCoffee\, breakfast pastries\, and lunches will be catered by Panera. Please note any dietary restrictions in your registration. 2 hours of Counselor/Social Work CEUs will be available.
