Making an Impact: Victim Impact Statements & Applying for Representation

Victim Impact Statements offer something different than evidence and exhibits in court. They offer insight into the past, present, and future effects this crime has had on a survivor and their loved ones. Every survivor has a right to be heard, and advocates can help them craft their statements.

1:00pm – 3:00pm

Across Ohio, there are opportunities to apply for legal representation to help in cases. We will teach how to apply to OAESV’s legal services and also highlight a select few application processes across Ohio that may be available for survivors.
