Two session options:
Morning session: 10-1 pm
Afternoon session: 2-5 pm

OAESV is excited to invite your feedback on the State Prevention Plan recommendations for action and future convening in one of two town hall settings. The State Prevention Plan is a set of strategies, goals, and communities designed to align sexual and intimate partner violence prevention work across the state. Early in 2020, the State Prevention Plan Planning Committee, then a limited group of representatives from statewide organizations and some local programs, enlisted the expertise of Sankofa Circle International to develop recommendations for the integration of an anti- oppressive framework into the statewide strategic action plan’s goals, objectives, strategies and key activities to ensure its inclusive, accessible and successful implementation by the organizations who provide direct serves to the community.

These town halls will be opportunities to re-introduce the State Prevention Plan, review Sankofa Circle International’s recommendations and provide feedback, and begin designing communities of practice around the State Prevention Plan’s goals. These are open to anyone working in violence prevention and we welcome your open participation.

You will only need to register for one of the two sessions. Each session will be the same material.
