StoryCenter x OAESV

Starting August 19, we will be hosting storytelling workshops with StoryCenter to empower survivor storytellers in rural Ohio communities (Morgan, Athens, Vinton, Meigs, Jackson, Gallia, Ross, Fayette, Knox, Coshocton, Logan, Darke, and Mercer) to create video/digital stories that can be utilized to increase awareness, support, and resources for survivors of sexual violence in Ohio.

We will have three sets of workshops with around five survivor storytellers in each set. Workshops will be once a week for six weeks, from 9-12 on Saturday mornings. Survivors will be compensated for their time.

We’re very excited for this opportunity! If you or anyone you know is interested, we encourage survivors to email storytelling@oaesv.org as soon as possible or to secure a spot.
