About Our Conference
Voices of Change
In 2025, our Annual Conference is an integral part of the Voices of Change campaign—a yearlong initiative to uplift survivors, strengthen collaboration, and drive meaningful action. Voices of Change is not just a theme or colorful logo; it’s a rallying cry to come together, empower one another, and actively support survivors of sexual violence. This theme emphasizes the strength and unity found in collaboration and collective action. It calls on us to speak up and take actionable steps in our communities to create safer, more supportive spaces for survivors and to end sexual violence at its roots.
At its heart, “Voices of Change” centers the needs and stories of survivors and the people who work on the front lines, recognizing that their voices hold the wisdom and guidance necessary for meaningful change.
We hope this message enables everyone, including those who work at every level and area of this movement, to connect, learn, and act together in solidarity. Through “Voices of Change,” we invite each person to be part of a coalition that honors survivors and inspires tangible progress!
The 2025 annual conference will take place from June 24-26th, 2025. This will be an in-person event in Columbus, Ohio with a virtual option available to attendees only.
This conference provides a dedicated space to elevate the voices and experiences of survivors, as well as the insights of those leading efforts in prevention, support, and advocacy. Together, we’ll explore innovative strategies, share resources, and foster connections that deepen our collective impact.
As part of the broader Voices of Change campaign—which also includes Sexual Assault Awareness Month initiatives, Advocacy Day, and other statewide programs—this conference reflects our commitment to sustaining a unified and ongoing movement. We invite you to join us in advancing this critical work, forging stronger networks, and creating real, lasting progress.
So, save those dates on your calendar and get excited for another three days of incredible keynote speakers; engaging, dynamic workshops; meaningful and grounding identity-based affinity groups; supportive self-care; and more. Registration information will go live via email, social media, and on our website at oaesv.org/conference in the early part of 2025. Stay tuned!
Anyone who works with survivors of sexual and domestic violence or in the prevention field is encouraged to attend. This includes victim advocates, prevention educators, outreach staff, mental health professionals, campus professionals, medical providers, law enforcement, prosecutors, military command and advocacy, offender treatment professionals, school counselors, and other related roles.
