Community Conversations for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Communities in Ohio

Join OAESV as we explore and learn about your life experiences through community storytelling.

Participants will be receiving a $50 Visa gift card for participating in this 2.5-hour dialogue.

This will be a Zoom meeting, and language accommodations will be provided.

Topics we will explore include:

  • Brief Education: What is sexual violence, oppression, bias, equity, and intersectionality?
  • How does sexual violence affect your community?
  • What kind of community resources are needed?
  • How can your community heal from sexual violence with our support?

This community conversation is reserved for individuals as survivors of sexual violence who identify as Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf with Low Vision, DeafDisabled, Late Deafened, and hard of hearing with multiple identities residing in Ohio.

Space is limited to 15 participants
